Terms of sale
Last updated: 24 October 2026. This English translation is provided for convenience; in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
1. Purpose and scope
These terms of sale apply to all orders for catering products placed on lh-gourmet.fr (online shop and lunch delivery) with LH Gourmet ([TO BE COMPLETED: company name], SIRET [TO BE COMPLETED: SIRET]), by private or business customers. Placing an order implies acceptance of these terms.
Services provided on quotation (buffets, catering service, event planning) are subject to a quote and specific terms, which take precedence over these terms of sale.
2. Products
Products are described with the greatest care. Photographs are not contractually binding; recipes may vary according to the season and supply, with equivalent quality.
Allergens. Our products are prepared in a kitchen that handles the 14 regulated allergens (gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, peanuts, soy, milk, tree nuts, celery, mustard, sesame, sulphites, lupin, molluscs). Traces may be present in all our products. The allergen list for each product is available on request at contact@lh-gourmet.fr: please tell us about any allergy before ordering.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in euros including VAT. The delivery fee is €45 including VAT per order within Île-de-France and is shown before the order is sent. Some products and live stations are offered “on quotation”. LH Gourmet may change its prices at any time; the applicable price is the one displayed when the order is placed.
4. Ordering
The customer fills their basket, enters their details, the delivery address, date and preferred time slot, then sends the order. Sending the order constitutes an order request: the sale is only concluded once confirmed by LH Gourmet, which contacts the customer within 24 business hours to confirm availability, the time slot and payment.
Lunch delivery orders must be placed at least 48 hours in advance. Other ordering lead times are specified upon confirmation.
5. Payment
No payment is taken online. Payment terms are communicated when the order is confirmed: [TO BE COMPLETED: accepted payment methods (card, bank transfer…), any deposit and when the balance is due].
6. Delivery
LH Gourmet delivers throughout Île-de-France, to the address and in the time slot confirmed. Lunch delivery runs Monday to Friday, between 11:30 am and 1 pm. The customer (or a designated person) must be present to receive the order.
The customer checks the order on delivery and immediately reports any problem (missing or damaged item) to the delivery person, then in writing to contact@lh-gourmet.fr within 24 hours.
7. Storage
Products are delivered fresh. Once received, they must be kept refrigerated (between 0 and 4 °C) and eaten within the indicated time. LH Gourmet cannot be held responsible for any break in the cold chain after delivery.
8. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to foodstuffs liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, nor to catering services provided on a specific date.
9. Changes and cancellation
Any request to change or cancel an order must be sent to contact@lh-gourmet.fr. [TO BE COMPLETED: change and cancellation deadlines and fees, e.g. free of charge up to 72 hours before delivery].
10. Alcoholic drinks
The sale of alcohol to minors is prohibited (Article L.3342-1 of the French Public Health Code). By ordering alcoholic drinks, the customer certifies that they are at least 18 years old; proof of age may be requested on delivery.
Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health; please drink responsibly. (L’abus d’alcool est dangereux pour la santé, à consommer avec modération.)
11. Complaints and mediation
Any complaint may be sent to contact@lh-gourmet.fr. If a dispute cannot be resolved, consumer customers may use the consumer mediator free of charge: [TO BE COMPLETED: name, address and website of the consumer mediator].
12. Personal data
Data provided when placing an order is processed in accordance with our privacy policy.
13. Governing law
These terms of sale are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, the French courts shall have jurisdiction.
